🌎 Australian privacy coin regulations are some of the strictest in the world and I put a lot of time and effort into trading legally and safely. I'm a dual citizen so I can use international XMR markets and can buy and sell legally in Australia as an individual, not an exchange. Monero is legal for individuals to own and trade but exchange companies get told to take it down by Australian regulators, which is why even big sites like Kraken hide privacy coins when you sign up with an Australian ID.
🫂 I'm just a person, not a company providing a service, so the safety of both myself and those I trust enough to trade with is more important to me than selling to new buyers. If we haven't traded before, it helps greatly to have someone I know and trust vouch for you - this could be a friend who's previously traded with me and referred you to LocalMonero, for example.

I wish I didn't have to ask in the first place, but if I do accept a new buyer you'll need to do a quick video call to confirm you're a real person with matching ID.
