Whether you decide to trade with me or someone else, there are some things you should be aware of when using P2P platforms to sell your crypto. While it's rare, bank transfers in Australia CAN be reversed even after you see the funds clear in your account, sometimes up to 6 months later. This is called a "chargeback" and happens when the person who paid you calls their bank and requests the money back, whether that's because they're trying to scam you or they were using stolen/hacked bank accounts without knowledge of the real account owner.

You should generally be wary of brand new accounts with very little feedback especially if they offer to buy your crypto for prices that seem too good to be true/well above market rate. Obviously as a trader myself I'm not trying to scare people off but I just think it's important to be aware of the risks. P2P is still a really good way to sell your crypto safely and privately as long as you do your research and trade with trustworthy buyers with a long-standing reputation.

LocalMonero has a robust dispute and arbitration process, even after the trade is completed if you have any issues you can continue to send messages in the chat and if anything goes wrong you can file a report with the admins. I wouldn't risk my account, trust and reputation here by attempting a chargeback or paying with stolen money.
