Recent News

• Haveno team came out with its launch coins list, featuring BTC, ETH, BCH, LTC and ZEC. Making many in the community upset about the decision to include Zcash as a launch pair. Prior to that, ErCiccione added a Code of Conduct to Haveno's repository, making the case even more heated.

• Luke Smith published a video, going to more details about his presentation at MoneroTopia 2022. You can view all the MoneroTopia 2022 talks on the Monero Talk YouTube Channel. The first one is up and they are posting the rest daily as they are edited. You can watch other MoneroTopia 2022 videos here.
• SethForPrivacy published "Monero will undergo a network upgrade on 16th July, 2022" on official Monero blog.
• Monero Guides published 4 videos of "Getting to grips with Monero" on their YouTube and Odysee channels to complete their CCS proposal.

Telegram is safe and secure (WRONG!)

Telegram always falsely proclaims itself as something secure, that's total nonsense in which you should be aware of. Telegram doesn't have end-to-end encryption by-default (unless you always use its secret chat ability - green ones - and even in that case group chats are compromised), meaning you should trust Durov, Telegram infrastructure, and everything in-between to not sell your data you voluntarily shared with them to the highest bidder. The first rule of crypto is "Don't trust, verify!" So verify it by using something simple and more secure like Matrix for your daily usage. • MoneroOutreach.org has a very detailed article for newcomers and how they can help and contribute to the idea and philosophy of Monero, check them out. Also be sure to check this article in LocalMonero's Knowledge Base.
• Monero Bounties website is a well-written and up-to-date source of Monero projects.
• XMR-Multisweeper is a tool to join many wallet's funds by just providing the software with old wallet's seeds. The repository is here.

Other

• LibRedirect is a free-software extension for major browsers (currently available for Firefox and Edge in their native stores) that redirects you to privacy-preserving alternatives for many mainstream online services such as YouTube, Reddit, Twitter, Wikipedia and more. Their GitHub repo is available here. Please note that Tor Browser developers advise not to install any additional extension into their browser, LibreWolf and Brave seem to be fine.
